Ingredients
100g unsalted butter, softened
2 teaspoons Colman's Mustard powder with Chives
1 French Bread Stick
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6
- Mix together the butter and the mustard powder.
- Cut the stick every 2cm, almost all the way through but not quite.
- Carefully prize open each cut in the bread and coat the insides with the butter and mustard powder mixture.
- Wrap the French stick in foil, place on a roasting tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Open the foil for the last 5 minutes to allow the bread to crisp up
- Serve straight from the foil.
