Ingredients

 

2 tablespoons oil

2 shallots, finely chopped

1 garlic clove, crushed

350g (12oz) mixed mushrooms, such as shitake, oyster, chestnut

300g carton crème fraiche

4 teaspoons Colman’s Wholegrain Mustard

Salt and pepper

 

Instructions

 

  • Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the shallots, garlic and mushrooms, stirring occasionally until beginning to brown.
  • Stir in the crème fraiche and mustard. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve as a main meal with pasta or as a starter with a crisp-fried bread slice and salad.
