Last year Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust (HEART) launched the publication Norwich: City of Industries, authored by ex-Sherriff Nick Williams. It instantly became a best-seller locally in Jarrold, City Bookshop and the Norwich Waterstones. Following the success of this publication, Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum, a subsidiary of HEART, are delighted to host an exclusive walking tour as part of our Colman’s bicentenary celebrations. The Shop & Museum are remembering a brand intrinsic to Norwich, which becomes 200 years old in 2014.

The tour will detail some of the heritage featured in Nick’s book with an emphasis on Colman’s and its role in Norwich. Unveil the surprising industrial history behind Norwich which is quickly being forgotten.

The tour will be held on Thursday 21st August at 15:00. It will commence at the Guildhall and finish at Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum with a talk from Retail Business Manager Nick Cook at 16:00. Places are limited, and booking in advance is essential. To book your place, please call 01603 627889, visit Colman’s Mustard Shop & Museum or online at www.mustardshopnorwich.co.uk.
