Ingredients

 


450g (1 1b) spaghetti
Salt and pepper
25g (1 oz) butter or margarine
2 garlic cloves, crushed
225g (8oz) wafer thin smoked ham, cut into thin strips
3 medium eggs
150ml (5 fl.oz) single cream
85g (3oz) mature Cheddar cheese, grated
55g (2oz) grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons Colman’s Wholegrain Mustard
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

 

Instructions

 

  • Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well and return to the pan.
  • Meanwhile, melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan and cook the garlic until soft. Add the ham. Beat the eggs with the cream, cheeses, mustard, seasoning and parsley.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the drained spaghetti, add the ham and stir over a low heat until the sauce is creamy and starts to coat the pasta. Serve immediately.
